Working Towards High School Diplomas

In today’s economy and environment, many students are choosing work over education, causing high schools to have a high negative withdrawal rate and impacting graduation rates. This presentation will share the benefits of a pre-college schedule at the high school level, allowing students to attend high school, improve their GPA, and earn credits while working. Attendees will participate in an activity to help them see the bigger picture and to think outside of the box. Attendees will learn how to engage traditional schools and businesses to support struggling students to become successful.
