Why should I attend?
If you are interested in the success of charter schools and the choice they give students in Florida, you should attend. Presentations are for authorizers, administrators, educators, and charter school stakeholders.
When and where will the conference be held?
This year's conference is scheduled for November 19-21, 2024, in Orlando, Florida, at the Caribe Royale All-Suite Hotel & Convention Center.

How much does registration cost and what is the deadline?
If you register by October 18, 2024, the registration cost is $280 per attendee. The registration fee increases to $360 for online registrations received after October 18, 2024.
What should I wear?
The Florida Charter School Conference is a professional learning opportunity. Business casual is appropriate. Meeting rooms tend to be cold, so please bring a sweater or light jacket.
Parking
Parking is complimentary for conference participants who book a room in the hotel block. If staying at the hotel, please use your keycard to access the parking lot. If driving in for the day, parking is $28/entry.
Conference Check In
When you arrive, please check in at the registration desk located in the Conference Center to pick up your badge, conference bag and program.
Conference App
The conference conference app will be available three weeks prior to the event. Participants will be emailed download instructions before the event.
Information Desk
Stop by the FCSC+SCS Information Desk in the Conference Center if you have questions, concerns, or Lost & Found items during the conference.
Conference Etiquette
Please be respectful of your fellow attendees and presenters by turning your cellular devices to silent or off before entering session rooms.
Please refrain from holding individual conversations during presentations, as they make it difficult to hear the presenter.
The building is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is permitted outside the building.

You may download a Certificate of Attendance to use for your inservice documentation.
Inservice Credit
All Florida school districts have procedures in place to assist you in earning inservice credits towards the renewal of your FDOE teaching certificate. Please contact your district's professional learning director to determine your district's procedure.
