Suggested Themes:

  • "If you build it, they will come." - As we know, charter schools are not quite the norm. However, additional charter schools are continuously sprouting up throughout the state, meeting a variety of needs and signifying the theme, "If you build it, they will come." This is apparent with the structure of new schools, new programs, new technology plans, new ideas, and more.
  • Building a Future for Florida
  • Charter School Accountability Produces Excellence
  • Charter School: The Architect of Success - An architect designs and supervises the building. What is new in the designs and supervision of successful schools and students.
  • Charter Schools: Schools for Florida's Future - content: Present successful charters and what makes them successful, different learning styles, interests, how new technology can be used and enhance learning-your educational program, achieve success in your educational programs through new technology tools for various populations, record keeping and improve school operations in general.
  • Charter Schools: The Business of Education - There needs to be a basic understanding of the separation between the education process and the business process. Educating is easy for educators. Running a business does not come easy. With the budget cutbacks, there needs to be a portion of the conference dedicated to the business side of running the school. School Districts outline performance standards not necessarily applied to tradition schools so how are these standards monitored and exceeded? How are charters cutting expenses, generating excess revenues, attracting/retaining students, preparing for FCAT, etc.
  • Charter Schools: The Merger of Business and Education Building a Clear Future of Choice
  • Charters: Providing Choice, Creating Change
  • Charting a Course for Achievement
  • Choice with Meaningful Change
