Why should I attend?

If you are interested in the success of charter schools and the choice they give students in Florida, you should attend. Sessions are targeted at authorizers, administrators, educators, and charter school stakeholders.

The 2008 Florida Charter School Conference will be held November 20-21, 2008, at the DoubleTree Hotel at the Entrance to Universal Orlando in Orlando, Florida.

How much does registration cost and what is the deadline?

If you register by October 20, 2008, the registration cost is $195 per attendee. After that date you will need to register onsite at the higher rate of $250 per attendee.

What should I wear?

The Florida Charter School Conference is a professional development opportunity. Business casual is appropriate.

Conference Etiquette

Please be respectful of your fellow attendees and presenters by turning your cellular devices to silent or off before entering session rooms.
Please do not hold individual conversations during presentations, as they make it difficult to hear the presenter.
The building is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is permitted outside the building.
